How to Change or Book an SNCF Train Ticket by Phone

A missed connection, a cancelled train, a ticket that needs changing, a refund that’s stuck, French rail customer service is faster and far more effective by phone than through an app or a web form, but the calls are in French and the hold times can be long.

What we do

We call SNCF, explain the situation, and get it resolved, a rebooking, a refund request, a seat change, a group booking that’s easier to sort out by phone than online. We stay on hold so you don’t have to, and we confirm what was agreed back to you on WhatsApp, with any reference numbers you’ll need.

How it works

  1. Tell us the situation, your ticket details, what went wrong, what you need.

  2. We call SNCF and sort it out.

  3. You get the outcome and any confirmation numbers, in writing.

A standard call usually takes 15 to 20 minutes. If your situation looks more complex, we’ll tell you before any time is deducted.

FAQ

Can you book my train tickets from scratch?

Yes, tell us your route and dates and we’ll book directly if that’s simpler than doing it yourself, or call if the fare or seats you need aren’t showing up online.

I already missed my train. Can you still help?

Often, yes, call us as soon as it happens. SNCF’s rebooking options are time-sensitive, so the sooner we call, the more options are usually available.

Do you handle disputes and refund claims?

We’ll make the call and represent your case clearly. Some refund claims take SNCF several weeks to process on their end, which is outside our control. We’ll tell you what to expect once we’ve spoken to them.
