How to Get a Table at Paris’s Hardest-to-Book Restaurants, From Abroad

Some of the most talked-about restaurants in Paris are also the hardest to book: reservations open weeks ahead and disappear within minutes, phone lines are busy for an hour every morning, and a handful of addresses simply don’t answer email at all. If you’re planning your trip from another country, in a different time zone, the odds are against you before you even start.

Places this applies to

Small, chef-owned dining rooms with limited seats. Historic bistros that never modernized their booking system. Restaurants that only open their books a set number of weeks in advance, at a set time, by phone. If a restaurant is genuinely hard to reach, this is exactly the kind of request we take on.

What we do

We call at the right time, in French, and hold the line until we get through. If reservations open on a specific day, we call that day. If the restaurant only accepts a narrow booking window, we know how it works and we call within it. You tell us your dates and preferences once, we handle the rest and confirm back to you on WhatsApp.

This kind of request can take longer than a standard booking, since some lines take several attempts to get through. We’ll tell you upfront if we expect it to take more than 15 minutes, before anything is deducted from your prepaid time.

How it works

  1. Tell us which restaurant, and your travel dates.

  2. We tell you when reservations open and how long we expect the call to take.

  3. We call at the right moment and confirm your table.

FAQ

Can you get me into a restaurant that’s fully booked?

No, we can’t create availability that doesn’t exist. What we can do is call at the exact moment a booking window opens, which is when most people miss out simply by not being able to call France at 9am Paris time.

How far in advance should I contact you?

As soon as you know your travel dates. Some restaurants open bookings months ahead; others only a few weeks out. We’ll tell you the right timing once you name the restaurant.

Do you charge more for well-known restaurants?

No, same prepaid pricing. What can differ is the time it takes, which we tell you before you commit any of your prepaid time.
