How to Book a Paris Restaurant That Only Takes Phone Reservations
Plenty of the best restaurants in France, small bistros, family-run places, some of the most-loved addresses in Paris, still don’t take online reservations. No app, no website form, no email that gets answered. Just a phone number, answered in French, sometimes only during a two-hour window before service.
If you don’t speak French, or you’re calling from a different time zone, that’s often enough to lose the table.
Why this happens
Many restaurant owners in France run the whole operation themselves, cooking, seating, and answering the phone. Online booking platforms take a cut of every reservation, so smaller places skip them entirely. The phone is the reservation system.
What we do
We call the restaurant, in French, and book your table. We confirm the time, the number of guests, and anything you need them to know, a dietary restriction, an allergy, a special occasion. You get the confirmation on WhatsApp, in your language.
A restaurant booking usually takes 10 to 15 minutes of our time. You buy prepaid time in advance, from €34 for 15 minutes, and time stays valid for six months, so you can book now for a trip that’s still months away.
How it works
Tell us the restaurant, the date, and the number of guests.
We call and secure the table.
You get the confirmation, in writing, before you travel.
FAQ
Do you only handle restaurants that don’t take online bookings?
No, we handle any restaurant, but this is where we’re most useful: places you genuinely cannot book any other way.
What if the restaurant is fully booked?
We tell you immediately, before any time is deducted, and we can suggest calling back closer to the date or try an alternative if you’d like.
Can you request a specific table or a special occasion?
Yes, mention it when you send your request and we’ll pass it on when we call.
